Hardware:
Inventory control, ordering, receiving, inspecting, and packaging hardware components for delivery to customers.
Job Summary (Responsibilities include, but are not limited to):
- Work in coordination with Showers, Commercial and Shipping, directly as needed to assist with any fabrication and delivery of all hardware and samples.
- Updating delivery dates internally as needed.
- Interact directly with customers when there is a change in their delivery status.
- Creating back orders for orders as required.
- Packaging, labeling, and scanning hardware orders for completion.
- Ordering materials for customer purchase orders and to replenish stock by utilizing the MGF PO system.
- Receiving in hardware (check for accuracy and damages).
- Keeping the shower door hardware area clean and organized.
- Adhere to policies, standards, and procedures for the work performed in the department.
- Cross-train other team members.
- Assist Metals Department as necessary when called upon for assistance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to alternate standing/walking 8 hr/day; will kneel, twist, bend frequently; must wear appropriate PPE (safety shoes, safety glasses) Must comply with all standard work instructions, posted signage, and written procedures for assigned tasks.
